黑糖薑茶

小時候,著了涼,一流鼻涕,母親就連忙用老薑加黑糖煮成薑湯給我喝。甜甜辣辣的,趁熱大口大口喝下去,再蓋著被子發一場汗,感冒便不藥而癒!我因生 產多又密集,一年一個,有一年還生了一對雙包胎,把身體弄壞了。平常經常頭昏眼花,而每個月好朋友來了,頭痛、肚子痛,量又多一拖就是十天半個月。看了許多中西名醫,均束手無策。病看不好,花錢受罪,一氣之下,乾脆不理他了。
後來祖母教我在月經來時,不妨用黑糖和老薑煮水喝喝看,她特別強調多喝無害,黑糖能活血,薑是熱性的食物,在故 鄉,婦女做月子都要吃些黑糖。老奶奶的話姑且聽之,月經來 時,就猛喝黑糖和老薑煮的薑茶,想不到,小腹慢慢不痛了。好朋友量也少了,當然頭痛也消失了,比吃藥還有效呢!黑糖和老薑不但能治病,在寒冷的冬天喝上一碗,渾身冒汗、舒暢無比,這種偏方花錢少,又無副作用,何妨試試!

Tuna Pasta-Tomato & Onion Macoroni
A handful of Macoroni, cooked and drained.
1/2 can of Tuna in Tomato & Onion gravy.
1 tbsp Ranch Sauce
1 tbsp bacon bits( not for baby)
some Organic Asparagus, chop in to small piece(for 1 year old toddler)
My Mother-in-law who had Diabetic had tried the left over " Tomato Tuna Macoroni Salad" which I make for my baby ger. She said is light and refreshing.
Good Idea for quick dinner.

Quick Healthy Sardine Pasta
1 handful of Spiral Pasta, cooked and drained
1 clove of garlic, crushed
0.5 can of Sardine in tomato Sauce(smallest Can for Ayam Brand)
Basil Leave or Parsley
Parmesan Cheese 1 tbsp
lime Juice from 1/2 small lime
Brocoli(cook al-dente)
Bacon Bits
1- Place pasta, garlic, Brocoli into serving bowl, spinkle with little salt.
2- Mash the sardine into the tomato gravy.
3- Top the sardine on the Pasta
4- Squeeze on the lime juice
5- Top with Permasan Cheese and Bacon Bits
You could replace the Sardine to same amount of Tuna in Olive oil.
Make great quick dinner when you feel fat.
Add on a slice of Pineapple will make up the fibre.
*Watch out the gravy/Olive Oil, and the portion of the pasta.
Quick, easy and healthy!

Durian & Fresh Oyster
This happen to my lovely yet greedy darling.
That was a great Sunday and the whole family when out to one of the 5-star hotel which well-known for its Peranakan and International Buffet.
But my darling almost got into stroke later on.
Is nothing to do with the hygiene of the food in the hotel, they are fantastic and with great service.
My Darling ate:

- The Best bet is the Durian Penget.(Fresh Durian Dessert).
But my darling almost got into stroke later on.

- Many Oyster + Endless Serving of Durian Pengat
- *OK, I have to agree that the Oyster is really fresh and the Durian Penget is really good.
He felt breathless at first, follow by stomach upset with dizziness. He got cold sweat. My Strong and Healthy darling soon he ended up in the gents throwing out all the food.
Everyone was laughing that the greedy cat to get his lesson. But I think there must be something fishy between Oyster and Durian.
Prawn and Vitamin C
Recently I read about an article that a Taiwanese gal were killed due to Prawn and Vitamin C.
I am surpraised that this really happen. I did heard about the theory before during my school days.
If one taking shellfish diet, should avoid immediate high intencity of Vitamin C intake.
I am not sure how true it is.
Please do not make any attemp to experiment this at home just to prove it is wrong. Don't be selfish, share with your friends and beloved one.

Your Bikini Body Diet
Many of us heard about the 3 days crash diet. I had modify one which I think is a better option but also works for many people. The portion is for typical Asian Women with 1.6m 52kg, with bulge in the tummy and carrot tight due to water retention.
Day 1:
BreakFast:
1 Glass of Warm Water
Black Coffee w/ Skim Milk
2 Slice of Wholemeal bread. Toasted
1 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
Another 2 Glass of warm water between meals.
Day 2
BreakFast:
1 Glass of Warm Water
Black Coffee or Tea W/Skim Milk
3 plain cracker
1 Slice of LF Cheese
An Apple between meal to help your intestine move alittle.
Day 3
BreakFast:
1 Glass of Warm Water
Black Coffee or Tea W/Out sugar and Milk
2 WholeMeal Bread, lightly toasted
1 hardboil egg lightly season with Salt and Pepper.
Mini reminder:
Warm water in the AM will help your blood to circulate just like a kick start for you. You can squeeze in a lemon if your tummy could take it during empty stomach.
Peabut butter, ok, butter is fat. The Tbsp refers to standard tablespoon, you can have a heap spoon, but please don't used an ice cream scope.
About the Hard Boiled Egg, you can have a tsp of Mayo(Lots of Trans fat) if you really know what is call a teaspoon. Else, forget about loossing weight.
You can find LF, TF Free, gluten but still nothing but fat. Be very careful about the portion.
Fill in the gap with fibre.

Fruits comes with calories too. Limit to 1 slice each snaking if you are really cannot stop snacking. Max 3 serving a day.
You can't live without a Coke? Go for the white or black canned. But, it gives you a bloated tummy. Try to quit it. Compare to Coffee, at least Coffee will have some counts of antiOxidant.
